Who is DWA Search?

Dick Williams & Associates (DWA Search) was founded in 1988 by Dick Williams, a marine and semiconductor sales and marketing executive with over 30 years of organizing and directing sales groups.

DWA was essential to the growth of many Silicon Valley, US and International companies and market leaders.

In 2019 the management of the company was transferred to long-term business partners and friends. Today DWA is lead by Bud Rice with an experienced recruiting and HR Team with a background with over 100 years experience.
Building on many 1000 hires, including world-renowned executives and board members. DWA Today has excellent systems in place that provide strategic clients with a transparent and comprehensive view of the ongoing search activities.  Every search is handled with special, personal care and devotion by DWA’s staff.
We will work diligently, quick, and have the appropriate creativity with global reach when needed in difficult searches.

Bud Rice

General Manager

Roxie Vogt

DWA Human Resources Recruiter/Consultant

Roxie Vogt brings 30 plus years of global experience in Human Resources, spanning various industries, HR management and executive positions in leading Silicon Valley companies. She has been instrumental with all levels of management and BOD’s in finding and selecting candidates for new positions.

Ms. Vogt was Chair of the East Bay Executive Human Resources Forum, supporting the continued networking and business relationships of the HR community.  

Ms. Vogt received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Masters degree in Counseling and Personnel from Central Michigan University.

Brett Hutchens

DWA Sr. Advisor Human Resources

 Brett has spent the last ten years consulting with business owners & executives after twenty years supporting a variety of operations globally at the executive level.  From hospitality, high tech, and mental health to aviation and automotive manufacturing, Brett brings experiences to produce results. 

His professional enjoyment is supporting progressive labor legislation, serving as a legislative committee member with the Sacramento Area HR Association and a regular advocate at the state house. 

Brett leverages his Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication and Master’s of Business Administration for meaningful business results.

Sam has spent the majority of his career in a proactive role helping both coworkers and clients achieve their goals. Prior to beginning DWA in 1988, Dick had decades of International Sales, Marketing and Operations experience with a variety technology firms. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, he was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1960s.
